Pot-O-Beans

Pot of kidney beans

Soak 3 cups of black or white beans over night, make sure to cover generously. I usually mix 2 cups of black beans and 1 cup of white.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of diced tomatoes 

  • 1 chopped onion 

  • 5-6 large garlic cloves chopped 

  • 1 tbls of Himalayan salt and pepper mix 

  • 1 tbls of turmeric 

  • 2 tsp of onion & garlic granules 

  • 2 tsp of smoked paprika 

  • 2 tsp of cumin 

  • 4 cups of filtered water 

  • 1 strip of kombu 

Directions:

In an instant pot put beans and all ingredients in. Close lid and put on bean/soup setting for 30 minutes. And voilá! Beans.
